London Fashion Week

It is a dream of mine to attend all of the Fashion Weeks all over the world, and someday I will. But for now, I live through the pictures and Snapchat and Instagram stories of the big fashion houses and my friends that attend. One of my really close friends, Maggie Hite, is currently studying abroad in London and had the opportunity of attending several events of LFW. I had the opportunity to interview her about her experience and was proud to see one of my close friends enjoying the fashion world abroad. 1. What shows did you attend?/Who were the designers? - I attended the Edeline Lee show at OXO Tower Wharf. It was set as a presentation rather than a runway show. All of the 'invite only'

Pastel Palette

Lately I have been seeing a lot of pastel colors showing up in many clothing stores, so I decided to give them a shot. Although I lean more towards dark colors, it is nice to try something light for a change. I was surprised to really like the colors, it made me feel calmer and made me even more excited for spring to get here fast! European Dreams

It was a dream come true. I had never been to Europe, so when the opportunity came up I did not even think twice about booking my flight. If you are looking for a cheap getaway, then I recommend looking into WOW Air plane tickets; they range from $300 to $400 for a round-trip. The first day consisted of doing the classic tourist things: going to the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph, along with visiting the Opera Garnier. I was blown away by how beautiful these monuments were, particularly the Opera Garnier. This Opera is where the inspiration behind Phantom of the Opera came from, and you can bet I was excited to see Box 5. What impressed me the most was the Grand Foyer of the Opera, it

Parisian Style: Favorite Outfits

Traveling for the first time to Paris is a huge deal for me, and of course I wanted to dress my best for the occasion. I have selected my favorite outfits that I have worn so far during my trip. They were all styled by me and have articles of clothing that come from my family's textile store from Guatemala, Lanificio Di Livenza. Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children Series

I have always had a high interest for books with fantastical elements to it, and when I heard these were being turned into movies I knew I had to read them before I watched the movies. These books are not even on my list of books that I have yet to read, but I couldn't help but buy all three and begin my journey. So far, I have finished the first book and I am in the process of reading the second one. I must say, the movie made it seem like the story was colorful and happy, but it is actually pretty deep and dark. The movie definitely skipped some of the more gruesome elements of the book, and it altered the ending a little... (which I will be very mad if I find out that that's how the serie

Personal Playlist: Mother Monster

In light of the Super Bowl being this upcoming Sunday, and the performer being my all-time favorite artist, Lady Gaga, here is my personal playlist to Mother Monster herself. I have included some of her non-singles because I love some of them more than her actual singles. Also, I included different remixes and versions of several songs. It's nice to change things up a bit every now and then. PAWS UP! 1. Just Dance (RedOne Remix) 2. Dance In The Dark 3. Sexxx Dreams 4. Scheiße 5. Paparazzi (Demolition Crew Remix) 6. Telephone (feat. Beyonce) 7. Diamond Heart 8. Gypsy 9. Poker Face (Piano and Voice Version) [Live] 10. Dope 11. Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) [Live from Frederick P. Rose Hall,

Harry Potter Inspired

Being a huge fan of Harry Potter, I cannot help but have some of my outfits take some inspiration from the series. Sometimes, it's just nice to remember that the magic is always there for us to go back to.
