Inked Ever After

For this post I decided to do something a little bit different, I want you to get to know me! I think that the best way to get to know me is through my tattoos. I have gotten tattooed a total of 16 times by different artists that I have gotten to know and appreciate. I got my first tattoo when I was 15 years old (don't worry my parents approved and they actually paid for it!). My first 9 tattoos were done by the same artist, Oscar Rivas. He is a tattoo artist based in Guatemala and you can check out his work here. So, without further ado let's begin! Tattoo #1 My first tattoo is an homage to my family heritage and to what my personality is like. I am part Chinese from my mother's side! The Y

Spring Time In Vermont

This month, instead of traveling abroad, I decided to go somewhere in the United States, a place that would remind me of home, Vermont! I stayed at the house of one of my best friends from college, Alison Turner (you might remember her as AliT from one of my past blog posts, read about her here). Alison's house has 50 acres and as you can see from the pictures, it is a farm. Her family has a barn that houses their chickens, sheds that store all sorts of farming supplies, and they even have a sugar house! I arrived in South Royalton, Vermont Thursday night and was instantly greeted by my second family, the Turners. They had a welcome dinner for me all prepared and it made me really feel at ho

Vermont Style

Over the weekend I had the opportunity of going to one of my favorite places ever, Vermont! Being Spring, the weather in Vermont is all over the place, so I planned my outfits accordingly. Just like the weather, my outfits were all over the place - got an outfit for whatever the weather decided to do. For the most part though, I tried to stay true to what Vermont Style is all about - flannels and camo! If you like any of the clothes, links are provided for the stores in each outfit. AliT - A Voice To Be Heard

Six years ago I met AliT (Alison Turner) at our first ever college icebreaker, and from that moment on we were inseparable. As we got to know each other, Ali told me that she was a singer/songwriter and played some of her songs for me... I was instantly obsessed. Her style is alternative and indie pop, but what really hooks you are the lyrics. I have heard deep lyrics before, but hearing one of your best friends pour her heart out in a beautiful ballad, it changes the way you listen to music. Ali is originally from Royalton, Vermont and has always considered herself an introvert but she channeled that energy into her songwriting skills, and it definitely paid off. She mainly performs in New

Spring Fling

Spring is in full swing and I could not be more excited to finally bring out my bright colors and bold patterns. If you are looking for great deals in Spring and Summer clothing, I definitely recommend going to Primark, most of the things I am wearing in the pictures for this post were purchased at Primark. This store has amazing finds for really affordable prices, there is no need to break the bank in order for you to have a killer wardrobe. If you like any of the articles of clothing, I have provided the links for the online stores.
